Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pastry arts, creativity in dessert development, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, prepare, and present desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
  • Develop new desserts and seasonal offerings
  • Manage pastry station operations and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Ensure all pastries and desserts meet quality, presentation, and taste standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry kitchen and equipment
  • Minimize waste while maintaining quality
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training in pastry arts
  • [2-5 years] of experience as a pastry chef or in pastry production
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and flavor combinations
  • Proficiency in cake decorating
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of current dessert trends and techniques

What We Offer
